Enjoying the Holidays!

The Tennessee Sommers family have had a wonderful season!  Entering this season after our difficult second half of the year was a bit intimidating.  In the midst of that feeling, we were provided with so much fun by so many folks with an amazing Polar Express Train given to the boys by Joseph Construction, a free trip to Dollywood provided by the Farr family, 12 Days of Christmas provided by Monroe School Teachers, packages of Christmas paraphernalia from Grandma Lila, a great Holiday Festival at Mooreland Heights/Christmas Party at Garden Montessori and amazing Christmas gifts from Santa, Koella/Keeble families, the Washington Sommers families, the Campbell family and the Nashville Williams family.  In addition to all of the getting, the boys also did a great job of giving and truly enjoyed some of the gifts they got to make for their teachers/relatives.

Inspired by the Rutledge Family

It is always being discussed at our work- the importance of a Blog.  I had never considered doing it for my family and most importantly for my boys.  I am thrilled to have spent some time viewing the Rutledge family site and felt that my boys would truly enjoy posting some of their favorites.  We look forward to the future of our Blog and even though we post that "Sommers are fun" we will begin our postings from this winter as we enjoy all of our preparation for the holiday season.
